A New F1 Simulator Comes to Android and iOS
The game will feature F1 stars and a tricky management system.
This May game developer Hutch in association with FIA Formula 1 releases a new F1 Manager. That means that every F1 adept will be able to recruit one of the 2019's Formula One World Championship top racers.
Draftable characters include:
- Max Verstappen;
- Lewis Hamilton;
- Piere Gasly;
- Nico Hulkenberg;
- Daniel Riccardio etc.
Respectively, the Championship teams will be featured as well: SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team, McLaren F1 Team, Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport and others.
As for the gameplay, F1 Manager is all about right decisions. It's up to the player to decide when the driver should hit the brakes, increase the speed, watch the fuel consumption, change tires and so on. Even a single wrong step may lead to the bombastic fiasco, because the opponents won't give you a chance to relax. In a way, F1 Manager is a hybrid of the racing and strategy genres.
The visuals are notably spectacular, with gorgeous cars, which predatory roaring is very authentic. The multi-layered gameplay allows to draft real racers from Formula One, make various upgrades of the vehicle, unlock cosmetics, design strategies, select time for a pit stop and so forth.
A Fly in Engine Oil
Due to the game's refined graphics and special effects, F1 Manager consumes the phone battery mercilessly. Plus you cannot fire up the engine of your F1 chariot (or do anything else) if your connectivity is off. This makes F1 Manager more of a game to be enjoyed at home, rather than a reliable time-killer that could be used outside.
F1 Manager is a free racing/strategy title, which will bring the excitement and thrill of a real Formula 1 race to your mobile gizmo.
